1816 Census Information for Arnolds in Amite County, Mississippi

The following list of Arnolds are found in the Amite County, Mississippi 1816 tax/census. The family was to have settled in Amite from Georgia, needless to say, that does not mean that they were actually born there.

William Arnold first arrives in Amite, and is listed on the 1800 census, but it list only he and his wife, the other Arnold men arrive by prior to 1815. This is determined with the Marriage of Lucinda (Lucy Arnold) in 1815 to a John Roberts. Lucinda is the child of John Arnold. I know from census that Lucinda was born in Georgia.

Rather good size group in Amite, and they were the children of one of the Arnolds, but the question is, which one?
